Scott McCarthy

Motion Graphics Designer

As a Motion Graphics Artist, Scott brings a multitude of talents when it comes to developing idea, concepts, and to final execution of projects. He is always on the lookout for new and innovating ideas that push the boundaries of animation and how those new techniques and processes can help advance motion graphics and animation to new levels for our clients.

Prior to joining the DI team, Scott worked for Sprint’s Yellow Fan Studios as lead animator. Scott has been recognized at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity for the “Wendy’s Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger Love Songs II” for VFX/Motion Graphics. Along with his professional career, Scott finds the time to give back and teach promising undergrads the power and fun that motion graphics can bring. For the past six years, Scott has taught intro to motion and advance motion courses at The University of Kansas.

Scott graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with BFA in animation.

In his free time, you can find Scott biking and working on a side car so that his dog, Howard, can enjoy rides with he and his wife.
