Account Manager

Katasha Kumar joined DI with nearly a decade of experience in the sports industry bringing a passion for managing relationships and projects to the sports team as an Account Manager. She ensures the client’s objectives and expectations are managed and maintained from start to finish. During her time at DI, she has had the opportunity to deliver on high-profile projects, including work for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Hy-Vee Hot Zone, Kansas State University, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Vikings, and San Diego Padres, to name a few.

Katasha brings knowledge and understanding of client’s needs and goals to deliver results. Prior to joining DI, she worked as the Athlete Marketing Manager for an athletic technology start-up company managing influencer accounts. Additionally, she worked for National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA), now Women Leaders, after working for Kansas Football.

She has a degree from the University of Kansas in broadcast journalism, and while in school, worked for Kansas Football as a recruiting intern. Katasha was an active member of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and served as co-anchor and producer for various local news and sports shows.

Katasha currently is an active member of Kansas City Society of Association Executives (KCSAE), chair of the KCSAE Emerging Professional committee, Kansas City Lean In Circle, Women Leaders, and a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters, KC.
