Sales Operations Manager

Katasha Kumar joined DI with nearly a decade of experience in the sports industry bringing a passion for managing relationships and projects to the sales team as the Sales Operations Manager. Katasha first joined DI as the Sports Practice Account Manager to ensure client’s objectives and expectations continued to be managed and maintained from start to finish. During her time at DI, she has had the opportunity to deliver on high-profile projects, including work for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Hy-Vee Hot Zone, Kansas State University, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Vikings, and San Diego Padres, to name a few.

Katasha brings knowledge and understanding of client and team needs and goals to deliver results. Prior to joining DI, she worked as the Athlete Marketing Manager for an athletic technology start-up company managing influencer accounts. Additionally, she worked for National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA), now Women Leaders, after working for Kansas Football.

She has a degree from the University of Kansas in broadcast journalism, and while in school, worked for Kansas Football as a recruiting intern. Katasha was an active member of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, and served as co-anchor and producer for various local news and sports shows.

Katasha currently is an active member of Kansas City Society of Association Executives (KCSAE), chair of the KCSAE Emerging Professional committee, Kansas City Lean In Circle, Women Leaders, and junior Board Member and Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City.
