Jared Nelson

Design Engineer
With a background in architecture and construction, Jared brings building process, electrical, structural design and drafting expertise to Dimensional Innovations.

Previously working for his family’s construction business, as well as in electrical and fabrication roles at other companies, Jared also has a degree in architecture from Drury University. He worked as an architectural intern for Suttle Mindlin in St. Louis, Mo., as well as Burkhardt + Partners in Zurich, Switzerland.

Notable work for DI includes the matchless six-foot-wide Silversun custom chandelier as well as the 25-foot-tall “Aspire” Fountain for Mosaic Healthcare and the Kansas City Google Fiber store.

Outside of the working world, Jared enjoys travel (he’s been to 48 of 50 states and studied abroad in both Greece and Italy), working on cars and making furniture and other sculpting projects from wood, metal and anything else he can get ahold of.
