From concept to completion, Dimensional Innovations teamed with Science City, Project Explore and Turner Special Projects to create the largest publicly viewed Paleo Lab in the country. In just six months, DI designed, engineered and fabricated the eight dinosaurs and pre-historic mammals that reside in the 800-square-foot exhibit area.
With the help of paleontologist Matt Christopher, Dimensional Innovations created an interactive exhibit that is both educational and entertaining. Simple enough for kids of all ages to piece together, the puzzles are of stylized bones that are also anatomically correct. Fabricated with a proprietary Duracoat™ finish, the interactive pieces will withstand daily abuse. The eight models of prehistoric reptiles and mammals range in size from one-sixth scale to full scale.
